C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity
In the preface of his collected broadcast talks on the BBC, Lewis sets forth his intentions for writing the addresses. In one lengthy paragraph in which he addresses church denominations he makes a statement that is as relevant now as it was then. In an age when the blogosphere rages with theological disputes by amateurs and professionals alike, flinging their disputes around for everyone to see. From the sounds of it, Lewis would have found this most disturbing.
