Social media and much of the content we engage with on the Internet is not passive. It’s created and disseminated with intent. The question is, what kind of intent?

For a few years, the Wall Street Journal has monitored Meta’s use of algorithms and how it uses the frequency of posts and the kind of content posted to ensnare young women. Most recently, it has shown how Meta connects child pornography to pedophiles and how companies like Disney knowingly advertise on these pages.

In today’s episode, I explore WSJ’s findings about Meta and discuss what it means for us as users, parents, and humans.
